Should have purchased it much sooner
Reasons why I love this case:
1. Not bulky
2. Hard protective shell
3. Fits the 5g Nano perfectly with all ports accessible.
4. Does not fall apart easily - even when dropped in the house. (Can't say regarding concrete as I've never dropped it outside.)
5. Subtle design gives a bit of character while still letting you see your ipod.

More for aesthetics than actual protection
I purchased this case along with a 16GB iPod Nano (5th generation) because I had a clear version of this case for my 4th gen Nano and was pretty happy with how well it took care of that one. Plus, with the design, I thought it would look pretty cool against the silver iPod.
Received it today, and boy, was I disappointed. First off, it's pretty flimsy feeling, compared to the completely clear 4th gen case. I thought it was going to snap as I opened it to place my iPod inside. Secondly, the front half of the cover seems to be a millimeter too short as well. The iPod does not fit unless I wanted to force it, which I'm not about to do, lest I scratch up (or worse, break) my brand new iPod.
The outer part of the case seems slightly "softer", too. Not sure how easily scratched it may get or how much they'll stand out against the print, but it seems to me that it will scratch up much more easily than something with more hardness to it.
I will note that it is very slim and if you want a case that doesn't take up valuable pocket real estate, this one should be on your list of candidates. Not to mention that it is rather stylish looking.
It looks nice enough, and I may have had a defective one on the sizing, but I want a case with some definite durability and toughness, anyway. Even if it did fit, I'd be too worried about breaking it every time I may have to open it.
If you want a case that looks pretty and will merely keep your iPod from getting scratched without "bulking up" the iPod, this may be more your style, but I'll most definitely be returning mine.
