Failed after one day... twice!
This is a terrible product. I bought one form the local Apple store. It stopped working the next day, so I exchanged it for another. That one failed after two days. Complete garbage.

Works with iPhone 4
It works fine with an iPhone 4 - as long as you don't have the Apple-made Bumper case. My wife has the Belkin Vue case on her phone, and this charger works great. I have the Bumper on my iPhone. The bumper has a very precise slot for the charge/data cable connector, made to fit the Apple cable perfectly. The connector on this charger, although fairly thin, is just a little too wide to fit in the space allowed by the Bumper, so the charger cannot make a good connection.

On a side note, I have also have the iPhone car charger from AT&T. This one works fine with the Bumper case (it seems to be a little thinner and have a longer male connector). You can find it on AT&T's accessories website.

Iphone car charger works great
I'm very pleased with my car charger. It's sturdy, connection with car outlet is great, and the cord is long enough when I need to talk while charging.

Works great
I've had this for quite a while now and it works perfectly fine. If I had to pick one thing about it that I don't like, I suppose I'd choose the cord: It's just a tad short for my needs, pulling my iPhone down from its mount slightly. This is just a minor complaint, however, as I'm quite happy with it.

Turns on & off on its own.
Worked for a few months, then, while plugged in, it would stop charging then begin charging again then stop, then begin again. Repeat infinitely. Tried it in our new car and same thing happened.
