Great but not durable.
The rubberized leather started to peel off the corner and any dirt that gets inside scratches the back. I've started to let my iPhone go naked instead of subjecting it to this fat torture chamber.

ok for a bit
Fits nicely and protects well. The problem was that mine broke the second time I dropped my iPhone. The very bottom (thinnest part of case) snapped and now gets snagged on just about everything. I tried supergluing it twice but it continued to break. I figured for the high price compared to other cases, this would be a VERY good case. I am disappointed. Save your money and get a different hard case.

Ok, until it broke...
I purchased this on the clearance aisle so I didn't expect the thing to last forever. The texturing on the back is nice and the fit is snug, however I had a couple of annoying problems with it.

1. The fit is a little *too* snug on the top piece and the bottom piece never quite slid on completely, leaving a gap of about 2 millimeters between the top and bottom, which got caught on my jeans going in and out of my pocket.

2. The thin piece of plastic on the bottom piece that goes over the front is flimsy, and eventually developed a crack (then an outright break) from just taking the phone in and out of my pocket. I never dropped it once and the bottom half broke within a few months.

3. As others have noted, the texturing on the back comes loose in time and it developed little bubbles on the back after a few weeks where the adhesive had given way.

I paid less than $20 for the case, and for that price I can't complain much. However it would have been nice if it had lasted longer than a few months.

Nice case - bad adhesive
The case is fine and looks good. Unfortunately, it lasts only about 4 months until the adhesive that attaches the leather overlay to the plastic case starts to turn loose. Once that happens the case is ready for the trash can.

Overall a good case
I picked this case up thinking it would work for my 1G iPhone. Unfortunately, the case was too small for it and it got put away until I got a 3Gs iPhone earlier this year.

Overall I am satisfied with this case. It does not add a lot of bulk to the case and I like the rigid screen protector to keep it from getting scratched. The case feels like its sturdy enough that it will resist dents and scratches if dropped.

The case is slim enough that I can dock my iPhone to a speaker system with in the case (which is my main gripe about another case I have).

I do not use it on a regular basis, I rotate between this and 2 other cases so I can not speak to its durability with daily use for several months at a time.

I like the screen protector with the case so much that I use it with another case since it only came with a static screen protector.
