Elan form Graphite Iphone 3G

it looks cute but it scratch the iphone on the back...so i refer the rubber one

finally a functional 3GS case. I've purchased 3 cases so far this year alone it's July by the way. and I have practiced using my 3Gs in the same manner using all 3 cases and so far this case exceeded my expectations. so what it means is I've dropped my 3GS with this case on the phone was fine and so was the case, it fits slim close to the phone, covers the phone nicely. I regret ever going to the apple store for 3GS cases because this was a fraction of what I've paid previoulsy for shabby cases, finally a case worth way more than the $ 15 I paid on amazon try $30 retail apple store for other brands.

I bought this in the Akihabara in Tokyo. It was love at first sight.

The bottom strip broke soon afterward. Some time later, the fabric started to fray. Now a 2" Chunk has fallen off on the upper left, about a year later.

Not well made. Them's the facts.

I bought this case from the apple store when I got my 3GS. I walked out very happy, as this is a pretty slick-looking case when it's new. However, it started deteriorating very quickly and now looks so jank, I'm in the market for a new one.

I think I'm a pretty typical phone user. I do carry my phone in my jeans pocket, but would never dare drop my beloved iPhone.

Within a month the "chrome" lip was not-so-"chrome" anymore, as the silver paint had started to flake off. Within two months the vinyl started to peel away from the corners. And now, six months in, the bottom part of the case, whose plastic has cracked, refuses to stay on when I pull my phone out of my pocket.

This case, especially given the high sticker price, is an awful buy.

I purchased this case in Jan 2010 and within the last month (less than 3 months after purchase) the vinyl faux graphite backing is coming off on 3 corners. Essentially the glue that holds it on is failing. It's a material like faux leather. I had high hopes for this case as I liked it's looks and ease of use but I can't recommend it.
